JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A 46-year-old man wanted in the sexual battery of two minors in Bunnell was arrested earlier this month in Kentucky, authorities said.

Michael Craig Bowling is accused of sexually molesting a 15-year-old girl at a June 2016 sleepover during a game of "Seven Minutes in Heaven," and repeatedly raping a second girl over the course of several years, according to the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office.

Bowling was taken into custody Dec. 8 on Flagler County warrants in Dayton, Kentucky, where he is being held without bond, the Sheriff’s Office stated in a Tuesday news release.

Deputies said Bowling will be transferred back to Florida this week to face a list of charges, including three counts of sexual battery and three counts of lewd and lascivious conduct, among other offenses.

“This type of behavior is sickening but I’m proud of the victims for coming forward and telling the truth before he could hurt others,” Sheriff Rick Staly said.
