JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – We topped out in the warm upper 70s and low 80s under partly cloudy skies. The winds picked up significantly during the afternoon hours, out of the Southwest between 15-25mph.
Tonight will be breezy & mild to start with. Overnight lows will end up in the low 60s. A weak cold front will push through, bringing a chance for overnight/early morning showers. The showers should be South of our area by 7:00am Thursday morning
Cooler air behind the front will push into some of our areas on Thursday, primarily the coastal zones. Afternoon temperatures along the beaches will only be in the 60s. Along I-95 we will warm into the low 70s. Inland temperatures will climb well into the 70s for the afternoon hours.
Friday starts out foggy & cool. Expect partly cloudy skies by the afternoon hours and low to mid 70s for afternoon highs. Friday night turns cool as overnight temperatures get down into the upper 50s under clear skies.
Saturday will be one of the warmest and nicest days we will see over the next 10 days. Temperatures will again top out in the upper 70s and low 80s again under partly cloudy skies.
Sunday (Christmas Eve) will be mild, in the low 70s for the afternoon, with chances for showers in the evening and overnight hours as a stronger cold front heads through our area. This will make for much chillier temperatures for Christmas Day on Monday, only topping out in the upper 50s and low 60s under cloudier skies.
