JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Police Monday released a security photo of a woman they said robbed a Westside Regions Bank on Friday.
The woman, described by the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office as being in her 20s, approached a teller at the bank on Roosevelt Boulevard, just south of St. Johns Avenue, just after noon, demanded $100, $50, $20 and $10 bills and threatened to shoot if she didn't get them. The teller gave the suspect money and she left.
Robbery detectives described the woman as being between 5 feet 6 inches and 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing about 140 pounds.
Police said the teller did not see a gun, but two bank customers told police that they did see a weapon.
Police said the woman left in a green sedan.
