JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A person was shot late Tuesday evening on the city's Northside, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said.
The shooting was reported about 11:50 p.m. on Broward Road just south of Zoo Parkway.

Police tell us a man was shot in the leg and was taken to UF Health. That man is expected to be okay. There is no word on any suspect information at this time.
