JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A roadside tire change sent three people to the hospital, one with serious injuries, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
Police responded to the intersection of Old St. Augustine Road and Agatite Road, just west of the shops at Bartram Park, around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday.

A driver initially pulled over to the side of the road to change a flat tire. Investigators said a good Samaritan also stopped to help.
Two men and one woman were working to change the flat when they were hit by another driver.
All three were taken to a hospital, and one had life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the car that hit those three did stop after the crash and cooperated with investigators, police said.
It's unclear if speed or alcohol were factors in the crash.
