LIFE OR DEATH? Jury deliberates James Colley Jr. sentencing

James Colley, Amanda Colley, Lindy Dobbins

James Colley Jr. was convicted last week of the murders of his estranged wife and her best friend. He gunned them down in a 2015 rampage at the St. Johns County home the couple once shared.

The jury that convicted him must decide this week if Colley should be executed for the murders. Without a unanimous jury recommendation, a death sentence cannot be handed down. If the jury is not unanimous on the death penalty, Colley will be sentenced to life in prison.
