Credit cards in stolen purse used to buy $1.5K in gift cards, police say

JACKSONVILLE BEACH, Fla. – Officers are asking for the public's help identifying a woman sought in connection with a smash-and-grab vehicle burglary last month, the Jacksonville Beach Police Department announced.

On Nov. 15, according to police, a purse containing credit cards was stolen from a car at Beach Bowl on Beach Boulevard.

Police said a woman later used the stolen credit cards to buy $1,500 worth of Visa gift cards at the Dollar General on Third Street North. They said she was seen leaving in a black four-door sedan.
