People in suspect vehicle detained for questioning, deputies say


PALM COAST, Fla. – A 21-year-old was arrested after a teenager was shot Friday morning in Flagler County, according to deputies.

Deputies responded about 10 a.m. to a shooting on Bressler Lane, just north of Palm Coast Parkway, according to the Flagler County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies said they found Kevont'e Lamar Gillislee, 18, had been shot. He was airlifted to a trauma center to be treated for the gunshot wound, deputies said.

According to the Sheriff's Office, witnesses were able to provide a description of a suspect vehicle, which deputies found after a quick search.

The suspected shooter was identified by deputies as Maurice Tyron Moultrie, of Palm Coast. Several people inside the vehicle were also detained for interviews.

The investigation revealed that Moultrie was meeting Gillislee, 18, to purchase marijuana, the Sheriff's Office said. Moultrie was able to identify the shooter and a description of the vehicle prior to
being transported to the hospital.
