Person shows up to hospital with gunshot wound, JSO says

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A person showed up to a local hospital with a gunshot wound just after midnight Sunday, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said. Police have not given the name or age of the victim or said how seriously the person was injured.

Based on the information officers were given at the hospital, they went to Main Street between 45th and 50th streets to investigate the shooting. At this time it is unclear what led up to the shooting.
