JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A woman who tried to rob a bank last week but "got scared and left" was arrested Wednesday, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office announced Thursday.

Jermyah White, 20, is charged with attempted robbery.

According to the Sheriff's Office, a woman, who police later identified as White, entered the TD Bank on San Juan Avenue on Jan. 24, handed a note to a teller threatening harm if money wasn’t handed over and then left with nothing when "they weren't complying quick enough," Jacksonville police said.

The woman entered the bank near the corner of San Juan and Roosevelt Boulevard at 9:40 a.m., didn't show a weapon, then left on foot, police said.

White was booked into the Duval County jail Wednesday, where she remained held on $25,000 bond as of early Thursday evening, online jail records show.
