According to a police report, officers found the man sitting on a bench in front of a house. The Sheriff's Office said the man, at first, denied the shooting took place at that home. The report shows he eventually told police where the shooting took place and a perimeter was set up around the home.

The man was transported to Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. He was reportedly in stable condition at last check.

No suspect information was available. Detectives continue to investigate.
