3 hurt in 2 Jacksonville shootings that occurred moments apart

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Three people were wounded Monday night in two separate Jacksonville shootings, both of which occured at about the same time, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.

Two people were wounded in a drive-by shooting Monday night on the Eastside, according to Sgt. Wilson.

Wilson said the shooting happened at about 7:13 p.m. on East 22nd Street near the intersection of Danese Street. Wilson could not say the age of the victims nor could she say if they were male or female.

A vehicle of interest was described as a white compact sedan. There was no description of a suspect.

According to Sgt. Bawroski, at about 7:12 p.m., a man in his late teens was shot near the intersection of Fort Caroline and Eveross roads. He was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
