Man in life-threatening condition after double stabbing on Southside

Argument inside Beach Boulevard condo leads to double stabbing, police say

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A man and a woman were wounded in a stabbing early Monday morning at a condominium complex on the city's Southside, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said.

Officers were called about 1:30 a.m. Monday to a stabbing at the Wolf Creek condominiums on Beach Boulevard, just west of Hodges Boulevard.

According to the Sheriff's Office, a man and a woman were both stabbed after an argument took place inside a condo. Police said the man was rushed into surgery with life-threatening injuries, and the woman was also taken to a hospital to be treated for injuries.

Several people were in the home at the time, but officers confirmed there were no children inside.

The suspect is in custody and there is no threat to the public, police said.
