3rd man arrested in dice game killing

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The third man wanted in the shooting death of a 16-year-old following a dice game was arrested Friday in Brunswick, Ga.

Tyrone Taylor, 20, is charged in the death of Ranod McKann. He was apprehended at a home by the Brunswick Police Department SWAT team.

Taylor was booked into the Glynn County Detention Center, where he was awaiting extradition to Jacksonville.

McKann was shot and killed the morning of Sept. 22 at the Landon Imperial Apartments in St. Nicholas, where he lived.

Police had already arrested 20-year-old Antonio Atwater and 20-year-old Earl Grant in connection with the killing.

Witnesses told police a group was playing a dice game in the courtyard, and when it ended, two men approached McKann (pictured right) and demanded money. Police said McKann's friend had won about $2,000.

One of the men who approached the teen fired a weapon at him, police said.
