JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Four children and one adult were injured Thursday in a crash near Mandarin Middle School, the Jacksonville Fire Rescue Department said.
The people suffered minor injuries when two cars crashed near the intersection of Hornets Nest and Hood roads, officials said.

The injured people were taken to UF Health Jacksonville for treatment.
Officials did not release any details regarding the cause of the crash or the identities of those involved.
The crash did not affect any traffic, officials said.
