Academic Resource Center To Open

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - McKenzie's Academic Resource Center is inviting Jacksonville residents to their grand opening ceremony.

The opening ceremony is on Wednesday at 5 p.m., which includes a presentation by volunteer teachers from Chets Creek Elementary, The McKenzie Noelle Wilson Foundation's CEO, Blake Wilson, a representative from the American Residential Communities' headquarters in Colorado, a high school student of the Portside community, and a song by the children of Portside. There will also be tours of the resource center.

The resource centers is providing after-school tutoring and resources to elementary, middle and high school students of the Portside at the Beaches community. The McKenzie Noelle Wilson Foundation plans to duplicate this resource center in other communities in the Jacksonville area.

The McKenzie Noelle Wilson Foundation is a nonprofit organization established in memory of McKenzie Wilson who passed away last year. .
