JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - A missing Jacksonville toddler has been found safe early Wednesday morning, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
Two-year-old Sofia Colindrez-Reyes was taken by her biological father, 37-year-old Hector Colindrez-Lopez.
Police said the man went to the mother's home and knocked and kicked at the door until she opened it, then he snatched the girl from her mother's arms. The child did not have on any clothes when she was taken.
About an hour later, JSO tweeted that the child was found safe. We are working to learn where she was located and if Colindrez-Lopez was charged with a crime.
