Beautiful start and finish for Jacksonville, as only a few scattered Georgia clouds and showers will develop Friday afternoon. Highs will be the downside, afternoon temperatures will top out just shy of 90°. Feel-like temperatures will top out around 95°, whew! A little hot!
Beach weather will be fantastic for this time of year and not just for Friday, but all weekend long! Each afternoon will see surf run 2-3 feet as rip current risk will remain on the moderate side, lots of sunshine and beautiful, warm breezes with highs around 82° each afternoon. Tropical update: Ophelia is a category 2 hurricane that will impact the west coast of Ireland in about 5 days. This will be the first hurricane to impact Ireland since 1961 when hurricane Debbie hit the Emerald Coast.
