Gale Warnings and Coastal Winds

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Here we go with our cold blast!  Today's weather warnings include: Gale warnings, inland wind advisories, early morning freeze warnings for those living west of the Suwanee river and, later today, a freeze watch for Waycross and Nahunta, Ga., will be upgraded to a freeze warning for Thursday morning.

There will be a possibility that by this evening a coastal flood watch maybe issued as easterly winds develop Wednesday night and Thursday.

How to handle this?  Drive carefully over the bridges, might want to keep to the lower bridges.  Bundle up!  Feel like temperatures will start off in the 30s and warm only into the 40s, working outside will be quite the surprise.  And most of all be careful with space heaters of all types and don't overload electrical wall sockets.

Richard will update this later this morning.
