JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A man was arrested Tuesday night in connection with a February shooting outside an Arlington food store, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
Taurus Torrey, 33, faces charges of attempted murder and aggravated battery.

Just before 10 p.m. on Feb. 19, police said, Torrey, who has a nickname of "Mississippi," and another man going into an argument outside the Sam's Discount Food Mart on North Arlington Road. Torrey then shot the man in the leg, police said.
The victim was taken to UF Health with a non-life-threatening injuries, according to the Sheriff's Office.
