What do you see as the top three issues in this race?
1. Keeping the gangs, drugs and violence of Jacksonville out of Clay County.
2. Improve the Sheriff's Office community relations programs by keeping deputies within our schools and neighborhoods.
3. Improve morale, training and communication with the Sheriff's Office to reduce turnover

How can you help voters in a way that others running for this office cannot?
Through my experience of law enforcement and public service, I am the only candidate from Clay County. I've worked for 34 years in this county; I understand the dynamics and diversity of our communities. I'm also the only candidate who has drafted,managed and implanted budgets with integrity and transparency for the tax payers of Clay County. I've refused bribes, stood against corruption and the political establishment and always stood up for the citizens.

For my honesty, integrity and public service to the people of Clay County

What do you see as the top three issues in this race?
1. Crime flowing over from Duval County. 80% of the inmate in our jail live in Duval County and committed crimes in Clay.
2. Drugs and Drug houses
3. Returning deputies to our elementary and junior high schools and creating neighborhood watch programs that work

How can you help voters in a way that others running for this office cannot?
I am the only candidate that has been a deputy with the Clay County Sheriff's Office working the streets, schools, and community policing. I have budget experience having been the Chairman of the Finance Committee with the Clay County Board of County Commissioners. I have a written strategic plan ready to implement day one.

What would you hope to be remembered for accomplishing after serving in this office?
1. Returning deputies to all of our schools to protect, mentor, and educate our children on how to be safe.
2. Putting deputies back into our communities through neighborhood watch programs that will help keep our citizens safe.
3. Seeking out and closing drug houses that are hiding in our neighborhoods.
4. Creating a program that will teach citizens how to protect themselves in violent situations using different kinds of weapons.
5. Re-establishing the Clay County Sheriff's Office as the premier law enforcement agency in our region.
