I have 31 years experience in education. 7.5 as the Assistant Superintendent of Columbia County Schools. I believe in positive leadership and working together with all stakeholders to improve our schools. I will return our schools to site-based decision making!
What would you hope to be remembered for accomplishing after serving in this office?
That we increased student achievement and reduced the stress of "testing". That our employees feel valued and their compensation is at least equal with their peers across the state. That we simplified education so that, "teachers can teach"!
