“Think about it. Talk to your neighbors. Talk to your friends, to decide how you want to vote. Get yourself prepared to vote. That is important," Florida's Secretary of State Ken Detzner said. "We are ready for the voters to come to the polling places, but it is important for the voters to be prepared when they get there.”

During early voting, voters can cast ballots at any location in their county.  Early voting is not available the day before the election. On Election Day, voters Can only vote at their assigned precincts.

In order to vote at the polls during early voting or on Election Day, citizens must show a current and valid picture and signature identification. (List of acceptable forms of photo identification) If your photo identification does not contain your signature, you will be required to show an additional form of identification that provides your signature.

Even before early voting began, 1.2 million Floridians had already cast vote-by-mail ballots as of Sunday afternoon. Absentee voting, or voting by mail, continues through Election Day. Voters can request a ballot through their local elections office at any time up to, and including Nov. 8.
