JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A family held a vigil Saturday night for Malcolm Osborne, 24, one of the two men shot and killed in a triple shooting in Northwest Jacksonville last month.
No suspects have been named or arrests made since the deadly shooting. The family is now demanding justice for Osborne.
Jacob Johnson' said it feels like yesterday that he lost his brother.
"I was hurting, and I just couldn't take it no more," Johnson said.
Osborne's loved ones lit candles, sang songs and prayed at the vigil. Many said it's frustrating knowing the person who shot and killed Osborne and another man is still on the run.
His family is hoping the killer will turn themselves in.
"I'm upset about it because they haven't arrested nobody yet," Osborne's grandmother, Shirlee Myhand, said. "But they should come forward and know that they did it because right is right."
Osborne's mother, who spoke during the vigil, said she forgives the person who killed her son. She just wants them to come forward.
Osborne was one of eight children.
Johnson said all they can do now is pray for justice and remember the good times they had with Osborne.
"He'd make me laugh, and he'd joke around with us,” Johson said. “(I miss) his love and kindness – everything."
