Troopers said a preliminary investigation shows a tire separated, causing the driver to lose control and flip.

One person, a 46-year-old North Miami woman, was killed in the accident and 19 others were injured after the rollover, according to troopers. FHP said the woman was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the vehicle, who was seriously injured in the accident, has been identified by FHP as 42-year-old Willem Camille of Miami.

Authorities said five people have been airlifted to various hospitals, including Orlando Regional Medical Center and Holmes Regional Medical Center and everyone else was taken by ambulance to six other hospitals.

The van was headed north on the Turnpike, although the final destination was not known, said troopers.

The crash remains under investigation at this time.
