Man arrested in Archer triple shooting

ACSO: Suspect showed up at house, got in argument, shot 3 people

ARCHER, Fla. – One person is dead and two others are in the hospital after a triple shooting near Gainesville Sunday night, according to the Alachua County Sheriff's Office.

Officers responded to 9816 SW 162nd Terrace in Archer on Sunday night at 8 p.m. after receiving 911 calls that someone had been shot.

An argument took place between Timothy Robinson and Brandon Scott, according to ACSO.  Scott, 22, grabbed a rifle and began firing shots at Robinson and two other people, police said.

Robinson ran from the home after being shot and was discovered deceased approximately 200 yards from the home.

The two other people at the home were struck by gunfire and transported to Shands.  Their conditions were unknown Monday morning.

Scott ran from the home and was taken into custody late Sunday night, according to ACSO.

He was expected to make his first appearance before a judge Monday morning at 9 a.m.
