Semitruck overturns, crashing into guardrail

Building material hauled by truck scattered on I-75

A semi-truck crashed Thursday forcing its contents on to the interstate

ALACHUA, Fla. – A semitruck crashed on Interstate 75 near exit 399, causing the building material it was hauling to be scattered over multiple lanes, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

According to the crash report, Steven Dejuan Jones, 38, was driving a semitruck south in the inside lane when he drove off the road and crashed into the center median guardrail, forcing the semitruck to flip on its side and spill the building material, troopers said.
