'Bad Santa' faces 10 years in prison in Central Florida bank robbery

63-year-old Mark N. London arrested in Port Orange in December

PORT ORANGE, Fla. – A 'Bad Santa' faces up to 10 years in prison after pleading no contest to displaying a fake bomb during a bank robbery in Central Florida.

The Daytona Beach News-Journal reports 63-year-old Mark N. London donned a Santa hat, beard and white gloves before walking into a SunTrust Bank in Port Orange on Dec. 23. He carried a wrapped gift and a note implying the "gift" was dangerous and that he wanted cash, officials said.

Circuit Judge Leah Case will sentence London on Sept. 19. He is being held at the Volusia County Jail on $45,000 bail.

Authorities arrested London about four days after the robbery. He also pleaded no contest to charges of drug possession and drug paraphernalia.
