Court rules NFL player will not get truck, money back

Letroy Guion, 27, arrested for possession of marijuana, firearm

STARKE, Fla. – A court ruled that 27-year-old Letroy Guion will not get his pickup truck and $190,000 cash back.

The Green Bay Packers player was arrested in Starke, his hometown earlier this month. He was charged with felony possession of marijuana and a firearm.

Deputies said they pulled Guion over because he was swerving and then found nearly a pound of marijuana and the cash in his truck. A 9mm handgun was also in the vehicle

The court said he was traveling in a known drug area in Bradford County and said the fact he was carrying such a large amount of money is strong evidence the money was intended to be used for drugs.

It also said Guion didn't have a credible reason for being in that area. He has 20 days to respond to the ruling.
