JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Two people were taken to UF Health Jacksonville on Wednesday morning after being involved in a single-car crash on I-10.
The Florida Highway Patrol said a white Impala was trying to change lanes on I-10 westbound near Stockton Street about 6:20 a.m. when it hit a wall.
Troopers said a Jacksonville police officer had activated his emergency lights to get the driver to slow, and 26-year-old Kenyetta Walker steered right and traveled across the lanes of traffic, striking the wall.
