"We're going to see Joel Osteen and our wonderful friend Enza has taken us here to find out about the lord," said Ron Couch.

Couch said that Osteen's message helped keep his hope alive after the recent loss of his wife.

Osteen inspires tens of millions of people weekly through his television broadcast. His weekly sermons draw more than 40,000 people.

Osteen told Channel 4 the event would be two and a half hours.

"...I call it celebration," said Osteen. "I'm trying to inspire people to show God is good, that he's on their side. It's a lot of music. My wife and mother are involved. I always tell people if they come, they'll leave better than they came before."
