JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is investigating a drive-by shooting in the urban core.
Police tell Channel 4 that officers responded to a shots fired call at 5 a.m. Saturday on Venus Mars Court.

Police say a person was walking on N. Davis Street. when a blue car drove up and two shots were fired. The car then sped away from the area.
The victim was taken to UF Health with a non-life- threatening gun shot wound.The victim did not provide any additional suspect information.
