BUNNELL, Fla. – A 31-year-old Flagler County man died Thursday night after he lost control of his Ford Explorer about 11 p.m. Thursday and his SUV rolled over several times, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Troopers say Claude John Pellicer was driving east on County Road 2006 at a high rate of speed when he lost control. The SUV began to rotate, then rolled over several times, ejecting the driver and landing upside down in a water-filled ditch.

The driver was found underneath the vehicle.
According to the FHP report, Pellicer was not wearing a seat belt. Blood alcohol testing was taken and the investigation is continuing.
