JULINGTON CREEK, Fla. – A local charity held it's 4th annual Dog Day event to benefit local pet rescue and adoption Sunday afternoon.
The community event held in Julington Creek Plantation is a fundraiser benefitting Wags and Whiskers, a pet rescue and adoption agency located in St. Augustine.

The event featured pet adoptions, an obstacle course, dog washes, pet-i-cures and pet photos. The St. John's County Sheriff's Office, partnering with JCP Cares showcased part of it's K-9 unit.
Two dogs that won multiple championships, demonstrated their abilities in the new exhibition.
