TAMPA, Fla. - Police say no one was seriously injured when a school bus overturned in Ybor City near downtown Tampa on Friday morning.

There were two children and the bus driver on board when it crashed Friday morning Nebraska Avenue and Palm.

The children had to crawl out of the bus. The children are reported to be OK, but the bus driver was wheeled off on a stretcher.
WFTS-TV was told another vehicle ran a red light, causing the accident. The bus continued for about 50 feet before rolling onto its roof. A fence outside the historic Centro Asturiano de Tampa building was damaged.

Hillsborough schools Superintendent MaryEllen Elia stopped by the scene and called it "a miracle" that everyone walked away without injuries.

Tampa police are investigating the crash.
