ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – Four stranded boaters were rescued early Sunday morning by St. Johns County Fire-Rescue personnel.
Jeremy Robshaw, SJCFR public information officer, told Channel 4 that the Marine Unit responded to a call about a possible overturned boat shortly after 12:30 a.m. at the Summer Haven Bridge.

When crews arrived they found four people standing on a piling of the bridge. They said the current was very strong and they became trapped. They got off their boat and onto the bridge piling.
Rescue was able to use personal watercraft to rescue the men. No one was injured.
