Woman, teen killed in Orlando triple-shooting

Police investigate shooting at Middlebrook Farms Apartments

ORLANDO, Fla. - A teenage boy and a woman were killed and a man was injured early Tuesday in a shooting at an Orlando apartment complex, according to police.

The shooting happened just before 2 a.m. at the Middlebrook Farms Apartments.

According to Orlando police, officers were called to the complex and found a 17-year-old boy and a 24-year-old woman dead. A 22-year-old man was taken to a hospital with a gunshot wound, police said.

"All of a sudden we hear shots and one guy came running toward my porch and says, 'Hey, I'm scared. My friends just got shot,'" apartment resident Luis Rivera said. "Next thing you know, I ran behind him and I said, 'Oh, my God. I can't believe it.' I saw the two bodies and I just ran out."

Police said all three shooting victims appeared to be walking to an apartment when they were shot in the parking lot. It's not known if any of them lived at the complex.

No other details, including information about the shooter, were immediately known.
