The Georgia Department of Public Health on Wednesday reported 98 additional deaths related to COVID-19.
As of Wednesday, Georgia’s total number of coronavirus-related deaths reached 6,773.

The state Department of Public Health on Wednesday reported an additional 1,577 confirmed COVID-19 cases. Of those cases, 23 were reported in the Southeast Georgia counties tracked by News4Jax.
As of Wednesday, a total of 309,678 confirmed cases had been reported by the state Department of Public Health.

According to the state Department of Public Health, more than 2.8 million tests had been performed in the state, which had a 10.3% positivity rate, as of Wednesday.
On Wednesday, an additional 259 hospitalizations were reported.
