WOODBINE, Ga. - Two men were arrested in Friday night's shooting death of a Woodbine man, according to the Camden County Sheriff's Office.

Timothy Sapp, 32, of St. Marys, and Cyrus Bell, 26, of Waynesville, were arrested and charged with one count of murder each in the death of Charles Rico Smith.

The arrests come after investigators served six search warrants looking for evidence to tie the two men to the crime. Robbery may have been the motive and additional charges are pending, deputies said.

Deputies responded to the shooting on 13th Street in Woodbine late Friday night.  They found Smith, 34, bleeding of a gunshot wound to the abdomen.

Smith (pictured right) was transported to Camden Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation assisted in the investigation.
