KENNESAW, Ga. - Park goers visiting Kennesaw (northwest of Atlanta) city parks are no longer allowed to use tobacco in the parks.  The city just banned all tobacco products.

The city has included e-cigarettes as part of the ban.

WAGA-TV reports the law is making tobacco use illegal in all parts of the park.  Previously the parks had designated smoking sections.  The marked-off sections have been used for the past decade.

Authorities say offenders will get a warning the first time.  Repeat offenders could face a large fine and up to a year in jail.

Other cities which have a no smoking ban in parks are Marietta and Sandy Springs.
