JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A bomb squad was called to a Westside Walgreens after a suspicious package was found inside the pharmacy's bathroom, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said.
The package, which was later determined to be an empty box, was found about 3:45 p.m. in the bathroom of a Walgreens pharmacy at the intersection of Normandy Boulevard and Memorial Park Drive near Cecil Airport, police said.

According to JSO Lt. Chris King, an employee heard a loud noise from the bathroom. About an hour later, a customer reported seeing a suspicious item and police were called.
King said police evacuated the immediate area and called a bomb squad to investigate. Authorities shut down Memorial Park Road as a precaution.
King said employees saw a person running from the bathrooms earlier in the day. No description was given, King said.
