What do you see as the top three issues in this race?

  1. Getting more commercial/Industrial business into St. Johns County to broaden the tax base.
  2. Keeping St. Johns County one of the strongest financially in the state.
  3. Keeping taxes low while maintaining the high quality of life in St. Johns County.

Why should people vote for you?

I have a proven financial background and business record having grown a small $50 million NASDAQ company at the age of 35 into a multi-­billion dollar New York Stock Exchange company. The unemployment rate in St. Johns County was over 9% 3 years ago -­? today it is under 5% -­? cut nearly in half. Tax Watch rates St. Johns County the #2 lowest in Florida (out of 67 counties) in over-­?all tax burden. St. Johns County is rated #1 in quality of life in Florida.

What do you hope to be remembered for after you leave office?

Having kept St. Johns County one of the strongest counties financially in the state of Florida and having greatly reduced the unemployment rate.
