JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – One person was seriously injured in a shooting Wednesday in San Jose, the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department said.
Officers responded about 4:20 p.m. to Powers Avenue near Toledo Road, where they found a man who had been shot.

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said the man was taken to a hospital. The victim was in serious condition at last check, according to JFRD.
There was no immediate word on what led to the shooting.
Police said they’re looking for a man wearing a black shirt and white pants who took off after the shooting.
