Motorcyclist killed in Flagler County crash, FHP says

A motorcyclist was killed in a crash involving a sport utility vehicle on Thursday night in Flagler County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The two-vehicle crash happened shortly before 7 p.m. on Old Kings Road South at Farfield Oaks Boulevard.

Troopers said a motorcycle was traveling north on Old Kings Road South as an SUV was heading south on the road when the SUV made a left turn onto Fairchild Oaks Boulevard and collided with the motorcycle.

The motorcyclist, a 65-year-old New York man, died, troopers said.

An FHP news release shows he was not wearing a helmet

Troopers said the SUV driver, a 37-year-old Flagler Beach man, was not injured.

Troopers said the investigation continues.
