Argument leads to gunfire at store in Mandarin, JSO says

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting Monday afternoon in the Mandarin neighborhood.

According to JSO, a man in his 30s was shot in his lower body inside a cell phone repair shop around 2 p.m. on San Jose Boulevard, just north of Loretto Road.

JSO said an argument led up to the shooting and everyone involved knows each other.

The man was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, JSO said.

As of 5 p.m., the scene was blocked off with crime scene tape, and officers were present.

JSO said multiple people have been detained as part of the investigation.

No other information was immediately available.
