BAKER COUNTY, Fla. - Two men and three women were arrested Monday night after a "shake and bake" meth lab was found in a home just west of Macclenny.

Deputies said they found the meth lab in the home on Woodlawn Road after being called to a possible structure fire. Deputies said there was smoke coming from the home they they discovered to be coming from chemicals used to manufacture methamphetamine.

Deputies said the product was being produced in a 2-liter soda bottle and was not cooked, per se.

Those arrested were Gerald Starling, 36, Fain Strickland, 40, Michaelann Harris, 21, Nina Fogarty, 32, and Vicky Morris, 47.

Deputies said Fogarty, Strickland and Morris told them they had gone to the home to buy meth from Starling. They said they had used meth at the home with Starling and Harris, according to deputies, but denied any involvement with or knowledge of the current meth lab.

All five suspects were arrested on charges of possession and manufacture of methamphetamine. All were decontaminated by firefighters, then booked into the Baker County Detention Center.
