Deputies looking for men who robbed 29-year-old

PALM COAST, Fla. - Deputies in Flagler County are looking for two men they said robbed a 29-year-old Palm Coast man Friday night as he walked out of an oceanfront park.

The victim told deputies that around 9:05 p.m. as he was walking on the northern side of 16th Road toward North Oceanshore Boulevard, two men approached him.

After passing by, one of the men then struck him in the back of the head and punched him in the face before pushing him into a nearby palm tree, deputies said. They said the other robber held him in a "bear hug" while his partner went through the victim's pockets, taking his cash.

One robber is described as being 45-50 years old, about 6 feet 5 inches tall and weighing between 300 and 350 pounds. He was bald and had a white and black chest-length beard.

The second robber was described as being 40-45 years of age, about 6 feet 3 inches tall, with a slender build and unshaven face. He had brown hair and an unknown tattoo on the throat area.

Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 888-277-TIPS (8477).
