According to the Sheriff's Office, Susan Wargo went to the store the evening of Sept. 7 to run a quick errand, and she left her dog Tebow in the car with the windows rolled slightly down.

Deputies said they believe Brian Dolinger (pictured right), 30, opened the car door, allowing Tebow to run off.

Wargo returned to her car to find the door open and Tebow gone, deputies said.

"I'm so traumatized. I don't know what to do. I'm just a mess. I never knew people could be so vindictive," Wargo said.

Tebow remains lost somewhere in the Branan Field Road/Blanding Boulevard area. Wargo has been posting fliers around that area in hopes of locating her dog.

Dolinger was identified and charged with auto burglary and grand theft.
