Flagler County bank robbery sought

FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. - Deputies in Flagler County are looking for a man they said robbed a Wells Fargo bank Thursday afternoon.

Deputies were called to the bank in the Town Center Shopping Center on Belle Terre Parkway just after 4 p.m.

They said a man entered the bank, brandished a handgun and demanded money. He was described black, 5 feet 4 inches tall and wearing a tan jump suit, Ironman mask, tan boots, gloves and a red and black backpack.

The robber fled the scene in what is believed to have been a maroon color compact vehicle with a Florida license plate. The vehicle was last seen traveling northbound on Belle Terre Parkway.

There were reportedly seven to 10 customers in the bank at the time of the robbery. No one was hurt.
