Flagler County liquor store robbers sought

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The Flagler County Sheriff's Office is seeking the public's help in identifying two men who are believed to be connected with the robbery of Sharps Liquors on Flagler Plaza Drive in October and August.

In the most recent robbery, the robber entered the store brandishing a handgun and demanded cash and a bottle of high-end liquor from the store clerk. The robber then ordered the clerk to the back of the store, deputies said. The clerk saw the opportunity to flee and ran out of the store to a neighboring business, deputies said.

The robber followed the clerk outside and then fired a single shot at her before he fled the scene, deputies said.

The black man in surveillance photos wearing a plaid shirt and baseball cap is wanted in the recent robbery at Sharps Liquors.

The black man with dreadlocks wearing a white T-shirt was seen on video purchasing a hat similar to the one worn by the robber moments before the liquor store robbery. The man was seen entering the vehicle seen leaving a nearby gas station.

Other surveillance photos show two people involved in the October robbery at Sharps Liquor.

Anyone with information on either of the robberies should contact Detective Gabe Fuentes at 386-586-4802 or call Crime Stoppers at 888-277-TIPS (8477).
